AboutI started my college education as a studio arts major, focusing primarily in painting and drawing. Towards the end of my general education, when I was ready to move forward with my major, I took my first art history course and it changed the path I was heading into. As I dove deeper into the world of art history, I became fascinated with antiquity, the mystery behind ruins, mythology, and culture. I later obtained a bachelor's degree from California State University, Long Beach, with a concentration in Greek and Roman art history.
Today, I am a staff member at the American Museum of Ceramic Art, where I have expanded my knowledge of ceramics and museum practices. My aspirations have always included becoming an educator, which is why I have decided to return to my art roots and pursue an art credential. My hope for the future is that I will be an effective teacher and hopefully inspire someone the way I have been inspired. |
